Does This Look Like The Face Of An Iowa Department Of Human Services Director Who Loved 2Pac So Much He Brought In 2Pac-Themed Cookies For His 65th Birthday Which Might've Led To His Resignation?

AllHipHop- The director of the Iowa Department of Human Services Jerry Foxhaven was a stan of Tupac to the point where he had ‘Pac-themed cookies to celebrate his 65th birthday. But according to KCCI, his fixture on the late rap star may have led to his resignation.

Jerry Foxhaven’s love for Tupac was deeper than most. In fact, it seems to be a large factor that played into the Governor of Iowa urging Foxhaven into resigning from his position. E-mails obtained by the Associated Press revealed that Foxhaven would regularly send messages to all 4,300 employees praising Tupac’s music. However, one person complained to lawmakers which resulted in Foxhaven being abruptly removed from his position as director.

Foxhaven’s actions were fairly innocuous and for the most part, it seemed like he essentially just wanted to brighten up the office culture. He would host “Tupac Fridays” where he’d play Pac’s music in the office. He also sent e-mails reminding everyone of Tupac’s death anniversary. However, when someone ratted him out to Gov. Kim Reynolds, she urged him to resign. That came only a day after he sent an e-mail to the whole agency, asking employees to play some of ‘Pac’s music over the weekend to commemorate the late rapper’s birthday.

Boy do I love this guy with my whole heart. Everyone has their passions in life and this Iowa Department of Human Resources director’s passion just so happens to be Thug Passion. What’s wrong with that? Not a damn thing. 2Pac’s music is timeless and can be enjoyed by people from all walks of life, whether it be the mean streets of Los Angeles or the mean streets of Des Moines, Iowa.

Everything I’ve read about Jerry Foxhaven makes him sound like the best coworker of all time . Bringing in 2pac-themed cookies? Delicious. Hosting ‘2Pac Fridays’ where he blasts classics like ‘I Get Around’ and ‘California Love’ for the entire office to hear? Sounds like the perfect way to get amped up for the weekend. Sending out mass emails to the whole agency to remind them to listen to 2Pac’s music over the weekend to commemorate Pac’s birthday? Incredibly considerate. Jerry is simply a hardcore 2Pac fan who wants the rapper’s memory to live on forever, and if that takes hitting Reply All to his Iowan coworkers and reminding them of his birthday, then so be it.

Who’s the snitch in the office that ratted on Jerry which led to his forced resignation? Whoever that person is, they need to do their research on the late great Tupac Shakur and educate themselves. 2Pac wasn’t just as gangster rapper, 2Pac was a rapper/actor/philosopher/poet/spokesperson for the downtrodden all rolled into one. Sounds like the perfect example for a Human Services office in my opinion.

I hope on Jerry’s last day he walked out to Hit’Em Up, roasted all his stupid, unappreciative coworkers and made them feel the wrath of a menace.

“When I got forced to resign it was just about the person who snitched on me but then everybody had to open their mouths with a mother fucking opinion. Well this how we’re gonna do this, fuck Governor Kim Reynolds. Fuck Nancy from accounting. Fuck Steve from HR who cooked fish in the microwave every Tuesday and Thursday. Fuck the Iowa Department of Human Services as staff, government agency and as a mother fucking crew. And if you wanna be down with the Iowa Department of Human Services then fuck you too.”
