No One Has Ever Deserved To Get Bit By An Alligator More Than This Guy Harassing An Alligator

Source - Stacie Childs-Wright and husband Chad Wright let their pet alligator, Amos, show the world the sex of their unborn baby, which will be the couple’s 10th child.

A video from Tampa station Fox 13, courtesy of Childs-Wright, shows a barefoot Wright dangling a black balloon from a pole, urging the gator to puncture it with his jaws.

The provocation results in a quick chomp and a subsequent explosion of pink powder. While Amos — who has been a member of the family since 2000, per Fox 13 — seems unbothered, Wright appears to be disappointed that a little girl is on the way.

This isn’t the first time an alligator has been used for a gender reveal party, but this is the first time I wouldn’t feel bad if the person got ripped to shreds. Granted he’s a Floridian, so he doesn’t know any better, but if the gator’s not interested in participating you kind of just have to walk away. Understand it’s higher on the food chain than you and leave it alone. If you don’t, you deserve to get bit. Especially if you’re using it as part of a gender reveal party for your TENTH child. The first couple kids you’re allowed to be obnoxious, but TEN? At that point no one cares and you shouldn’t either.

The whole thing bugs me. I get that he’s ‘comfortable’ around the animals, but to not even look at it is disrespectful.

Maybe it was a cry for help. Maybe he was trying to get attacked to put himself out of his misery. Regardless, it’s only a matter of time until one of these ends poorly. Then again, alligators are some of the dumbest animals on earth so maybe not. Remember when Steve O didn’t get attacked despite being covered in raw meat?

IDIOTS. Anyway, hopefully they keep the baby away from the gator because at this point it probably knows what’s up. Balloon = meal. Best of luck to the kiddo, he’s going to need it.
