Should I Sue The Boston Herald For Slander And Libel?

So I’m sure everybody is sick and tired of Towelgate by now. It’s basically just the same exact story that happens with us every 6-12 months. It happened when Big Cat sang the 7th inning stretch at Wrigley. It happened with BVT. It happened yesterday with the towels. Whenever we cross over into the mainstream all the people who hate us see an opportunity to steal some pageviews by stomping their feet loudly and crying foul. So the same exact and I mean the same exact people write the same exact articles they’ve written 100 times. Then the blue checkmark brigade get together and circle jerk each other and quote all the articles our critics have written about us as though they are factual. It would kind of be like an antisemite saying off course Jews are bad and then pointing to Mein Kampf as their proof. That’s how biased these articles are. They are nothing more than propoganda pieces against Barstool that somehow get passed off as unbiased journalism. It’s insane. And like clockwork I offer to debate every single one of my critics anywhere, anytime, anyplace. My only condidition is we can tape the conversation so they can’t edit and twist it. Shockingly none of our critics have ever taken me up on my offer. Hmm maybe because they know truth is on my side and I’d make them look like idiots?

Well that’s all fine and dandy, but what the Herald’s Jessica Heslem did was truly on another level. To include what is clearly a 100% fabricated story making it seem like Barstool was running rape parties is outrageous. I know it wasn’t her quote but as the author don’t you have to do some digging her when your source makes such explosive allegations. Again allegations that are so clearly made up only a fool would print them without definitive proof. I mean men were carrying unconscious women over their shoulders taking them home to assault them? That’s pretty serious shit. And to think this was all happening at House of Blues on a street with at least 40 cops lined up outside. Somehow there were no videos of this? Somehow this was never mentioned in real time? . I just wonder where is the line on what people can make up about Barstool? Because this seems like it was clearly crossing that line. But guess what? I’ll probably be painted as the bad guy for mentioning it and making life hard for Jessica Heslem. And even if I did sue the Herald I don’t think they have any money to pay anyway.

PS – Just once I’d love for an organization like the Bruins to tell these losers to shut up. The facts are we’ve worked with the Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox and Patriots. The entire NHL loves Barstool. We have the #1 hockey podcast in the world. We’ve worked with players on every single team. If you’re mad that the Bruins associated with us you should quit watching hockey because the entire league is pro barstool. Just because a few SJW’s stomp their feet doesn’t mean you should cave to them. That’s the problem with twitter. It’s an echo chamber where the voices of a few lunatics somehow get taken seriously and drown out the voices of the vast majority.

In closing I’ll say the same thing I said back in 2011 when I was dealing with these KO Barstool wackos. The people who hate Barstool are just people who hate life, hate fun, hate laughing, hate men and hate America. Go look at any of their twitter profiles. It’s just complaining about literally everything. I refuse to let these losers dictate who we are, what we say or what we do. Barstool will always be Barstool and we will always have haters who have nothing better to do with their lives than nip at my ankles. We’ll continue to grow and thrive and they will continue to cry about how unfair life is. Sometimes in life you get what you earn. That’s why I have money, fame and fortune and they have unemployment checks. The only way that will ever change is if they start worrying about themselves and less about how I’m dominating them.
