Just a few short months ago, the Blues and Jordan Binnington beat the Bruins while they were at their best, on a 7 game win streak. People love to build things up and make stuff more than it is, but the last time these two teams played it was a very close game in which the Blues came out on top. Backes missed an empty net TWICE and Sammy Blais put Tuuka Rask on Market St to give the Blues a huge win while they were still scratching and clawing to get into the playoffs.

Today is uncharted territory for my brain. The Blues are in the Stanley Cup Final. Its not hypothetical anymore, its not something we’re dreaming about in August, it is real and its happening whether you’re ready or not. I cannot wait for puck drop as you can only analyze a series so much before you start going crazy. I want this game tonight worse than any hockey game I’ve ever watched.
