E Sports Scandal With Potentially Millions Of Dollars On The Line Has FaZe and Tfue Buzzing On Twitter

(THR) – One of the world’s top professional esports players is suing his gaming organization for allegedly restraining his business opportunities — and taking up to 80 percent of his earnings — in a complaint that argues esports players’ representatives should be regulated like agents of film and TV stars.

Turner Tenney, a 21-year-old professional gamer known as Tfue, on Monday sued FaZe Clan for allegedly limiting his ability to pursue his profession in violation of California law, passing on a lucrative brand deal because of a conflict of interest, and failing to pay him his share of sponsorship earnings.

It’s been an insane 24 hours. Game of Thrones, Steak ‘N Shake nearly gone forever, and now we got some eSports beef between FaZe Clan and one of the most widely known gamers, Tfue.

Tfue, who is a member of FaZe Clan and a big named streamer, is suing FaZe Clan due to a violation of the Clan keeping 80% of his “earnings”. I’m going to stop saying Clan cause I’m not comfortable repeating that word. It is a violation of California law and Talent Agency Act. You may recognize FaZe from when they attacked our boy Robbie Fox over a podcast name. Because of this scandal, a food fight has erupted.

While Banks made this statement about NOT taking any of the earnings, this tweet was published not too long after.

And then Banks tweeted this.

Who the hell is telling the truth? Where is this damn money at? How much does it cost to get a tattoo removed??

There’s also some water boiling over FaZe forcing Tfue to drink when he was an underage kid.

I don’t know who’s telling the truth and who’s making shit up, but this should boil down eventually. In the meantime, I’m on whoever Nadeshot and 100 Thieves’s side. Nadeshot used to be on OpTic Gaming and was arguably the Cod God for a good period of time. He competed against FaZe multiple times in championships. He’s a talented genuine guy and seems to be the Obi-Wan Kenobi of eSports athletes. Here’s his take on this situation.

Whoops wrong tweet, but this is very relatable.

Whatever this man says I support. Except that In-N-Out is the best burger ever. If Tfue leaves FaZe, he is more than welcome to come to Barstool and create his own team and such. No matter what happens to Tfue, he’s a winner.
