Even I Have To Admit That The Pelicans Tickets Office's Reaction To Getting The Number 1 Pick Was Awesome

I’d love to be a sour little bitch about the Knicks losing the number 1 pick they tanked so hard for. But as someone whose first job out of college was slinging New York Liberty tickets, I have no choice but to admit that this video is awesome. All those people celebrating the commission they are about to cash in because their 6% chance of winning the lottery happened. If the Pelicans landed in the middle of the lottery like they were supposed to and AD got traded, you would have better luck selling a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves than selling Pelicans tickets to whatever Pelicans fans still exist. Instead, their employer landed the most exciting draft prospect since LeBron James that anybody with the smallest interest in basketball will want to witness in person. Does it suck for all the other NBA fans that the Pelicans will make another stud player irrelevant in the basketball purgatory of New Orleans? Yeah. But that’s probably just the sour little bitch in me calling it like it is.
