Missandei's Reaction To, "Are You Happy With How Things Ended?" A Few Months Ago Says It All

A couple things on that video. First, Missandei’s reaction is laugh out loud funny. No one has ever given a less convincing, “yes” to a question. Hey do you like how your run on the show ended? “Oh yeah I’m super pumped about having my head chopped off by a mutant giant after getting kidnapped off screen. That’s exactly how I wanted it to end.”

Second, Dany was a lot less obvious about hiding her disdain about the final season and how it wraps up. She could barely muster a response to a question that she had to know she was going to be asked a hundred times between then and the end of the show. She finally blurted out an answer that can only be categorized as extremely sarcastic so I can only imagine what happens to Khaleesi in the end.

Listen I’m not here to be overly negative about the final season because I’m mostly just happy the show exists and has given me joy over the last decade or so but I’ll admit it’s been weird at times this season. If you can’t admit that then you are simply blinded by your love for the show which I guess is okay too. From the super dark Battle of Winterfell to the coffee cup to Jon not saying goodbye to Ghost for a ridiculous reason, it’s been flawed for sure and it looks like the cast is equally baffled by parts of it. But the only reason those things are so shocking is because of how good the show was for 7 seasons so in a weird way it’s a compliment. Here’s to hoping the last two episodes are great and gives us an ending that doesn’t suck.
