This Arya Stark Death Slayer Is An Easy Nominee For "Celly Of The Year"

And what do we say to the God of Death?

Not today, mother fucker. Not. To. Day.

Brendan Nichtern of House West Point faking high and going low like Arya Stark out there.  Perfectly topical. Flawlessly executed. And what’s even better is that the kid had 8 points on the day. 2 goals and 6 assists as a freshman in the Patriot League quarterfinals. Just like Arya, Brendan Nichtern is a certified assassin.

Just do me a favor real quick and think of the balls that it takes to pull this out. Because what we’re all seeing here is just one moment. But in order for this celly to happen, the kid needed to see that episode of Thrones, think to himself that it would be a great celly to break out, and then in his very next game he goes out and scores 2 goals and has the presence of mind to hit Holy Cross with the Death Slayer. All while being a freshman at Army who is also top 10 in the nation right now with 70 points on the year. What a stud.

I’d say the only issue with this celebration was just that it wasn’t on a bigger stage. Which is obviously nothing that Brendan Nichtern had control over. But a Patriot League quarterfinal game against Holy Cross doesn’t necessarily have the same amount of weight to it as the Battle of Winterfell did. Again, that was out of their control and everything. I just wish that the Lax Gods were able to time it up a little better with a bigger game, or maybe at least a game that didn’t end 14-5. Regardless, shoutout to the Troops for this one. Complete assassins.
