The Lyrics To Podrick's Song Last Week Might Have Foreshadowed The Game Of Thrones Ending

Well I’ll be god damned. Fucking Podrick sneaking in spoilers. Here are the lyrics in case that video moved to quickly for you

High in the halls of the kings who are gone

Jenny would dance with her ghosts

The ones she had lost and the ones she had found

And the ones who had loved her the most

The ones who’d been gone for so very long

She couldn’t remember their names

They spun her around on the damp old stones

Spun away all her sorrow and pain

And she never wanted to leave

Never wanted to leave (x5)

The song is significant that HBO decided to release an official lyric video

A hauntingly beautiful song.

To recap, a former rightful heir to the Targaryen throne, Duncan Targaryen, gave up his crown so he could marry his love, Jenny of Old Stones. That allowed his nephew, Aerys aka The Mad King, to eventually sit at on the Iron Throne. So this song, Jenny and Duncan, are the real reason all of Westeros is even in this mess to begin with. Now, the true Prince who was promise, Jon, has the same problem with Dany and that could be the song of fire and ice. A lot going on there.

The hidden meaning of Jon Snow supposedly going to surrender his crown to Dany in the name of love…well that just doesn’t fit with what I want since I now consider her an unjust ruler and wrongful heir. I want her dead. This show has been nothing but bloodshed of major characters every single step along the way. If at the end of all of this Jon and Dany are looking lovingly into each other’s eyes as Dany sits in the Iron Throne…I don’t know. That won’t feel right to me. I hope this theory isn’t true. We need more bloodshed, more power struggles, more chaos in the final four episodes.

PS: The HBO lyric video reminded me of another hauntingly beautiful song. Figured I’d share it here
