Nazem Kadri Suspended For The Remainder Of The First Round For Cross-Checking Jake DeBrusk In The Head

For the second straight year, Nazem Kadri has been suspended and will miss the rest of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Kadri crosschecked Jake DeBrusk in the head late in the 3rd after DeBrusk hit Patrick Marleau into the stanchion.

Stupid play by a key player for the Leafs in this series. Thought Kadri was one of the best Leafs on the ice in Game 2, his Game 1 pass to William Nylander was unbelievable. Speaking of William Nylander, he will be taking Kadri’s place as 3C,  Tyler Ennis draws in on the fourth line.

On the flip side of things for Boston, Torey Krug and Jake DeBrusk are good to go tonight. Connor Clifton (upper body) is out, Steven Kampfer will make his playoff debut. Marcus Johnasson still sick.

Puck drops at 7:10 pm in Toronto.
