Well god damn it looks like everyone’s Masters Sunday schedule just changed dramatically. We’ve been hearing all week about how terrible the weather is going to be on Sunday and Fred Ridley just made his move. Tee times will start at 7:30am ET and the players will go off in threesomes from 1 and 10. Crazy, first time this has ever been done at the Masters. That means the Masters will finish much earlier than all the other years which will be totally and completely weird but huge shoutout to CBS for broadcasting the final round live at 9am. Golf and live TV sometimes have a strange relationship but looks like they’re not fucking around with the Masters.

Low key I’m pumped this is happening. People are gonna be upset because Masters Sunday is all about tradition and doing things the same way but golf and Game of Thrones fans like myself are ECSTATIC. While there was a very very very very very very slim chance that a playoff would interfere with GOT, there was the chance the Masters and its winner would quickly be swept under the rug for dragons and incest, that’s no longer the case. There was gonna be about a two hour window of celebrating the Masters winner and the start of GOT but with these moved up tee times and split tees it’ll give people more than a few hours between the two events. Glorious.

Fred Ridley, huge Game of Thrones fan apparently.
