Clint Frazier Blasts a Go Ahead Three Run Bomb To Give The Yankees a Gigantic Comeback Win

Clint Frazier has battled back from a LONG road of doubt and turmoil. The dude just couldn’t catch a break last year and has had his fair share of haters who say he hasn’t proved anything in the big leagues. His battle with concussions last year was brutal to watch and to hear it from him first hand on The Short Porch earlier this year was tough. There is no one who deserves this moment other than that man. He has worked his ass off to get his mind and body right to contribute this season. He didn’t make the opening day roster after a slow spring, but with a roster decimated with injures he has been given an early shot to prove himself.

Plain and simple Clint Frazier bailed the Yankees out of a terrible loss tonight. Boone and the analytics team of nerds for some reason allowed Jonathan Holder to remain in the game for a 3rd inning in the 7th. It was honestly insane to see happen. No one with a brain would have allowed that to happen. Albert Einstein himself would have a hard time explaining the decision to a normal minded person. Holder gave way to Ottavino who fell victim to a brain dead fielding play by Greg Bird, who came home on a bobbled ball to first, resulting in zero outs and a run scored. Otto did his best to limit the damage that was handed to him, which he did very well in my opinion. To add to Yankees brain dead plays, Gary Sanchez was picked off at third with the bases loaded and nobody out as the Yankees were poised to take a commanding lead. All of that bullshit happened tonight and was all forgotten because of one man, Clint Frazier.

I know it’s game eight, but my heart stopped when he connected on that pitch. I honestly blacked out for a second. I thought it was foul because Clint was so calm when he made contact. Nope, it was just blasted into another galaxy and he knew it immediately. I know it’s the Orioles but quite frankly I don’t give a damn. Every game counts. That was one hell of a win for this team and a huge momentum swing for how the beginning of the season has been going. It’s similar to Clint’s first crack in the big leagues in 2017 when he hit that walk-off shot against the Brewers right before the All Star break. Just a huge moment for the kid and I couldn’t be happier. He just needs playing time and he’s going to shine. Clint Frazier can help this team win a World Series. Tonight he showed that. What a fucking win lets have a Saturday night! And the Red Sox just got walked off on! HAHAHAHA

If you didn’t catch Clint on The Short Porch, listen below (episode 75). He gave us a full hour and he was fantastic.

P.S. The O’s catcher’s reactions to the Yankees home runs will never not be funny.
