The Jaguars Might Give Nick Foles 21 Million Per Season And I Might Rip My Penis Clean Off My Body

I’m ok with Nick Foles being the quarterback next year. I’m ok with him coming to Jacksonville as the starter, but I’m not ok with paying him elite quarterback money because he’s not a quarterback who can get it done long term without a cast that is exceptional.

The Jaguars don’t have the offensive weapons that Philly does. He’s not throwing it to Golden Tate, Alshon Jeffrey, Nelson Agholor or Zach Ertz. He’s not protected by the Eagles line. He’s going to be throwing it to fucking Marqise Lee, who is coming off an ACL tear and has horrific hands, and DeDe Westbrook. I like Westbrook a lot but he’s not a number one guy or a fella you can lean on… yet. The Jaguars dont have ANY tight end who are worth a shit. This is an offense that needs upgrades at every single skill position.

Wideouts: bad.
Running backs: bad.
Tight Ends: bad.

Having Foles at 21 million doesnt fix that.

If the Jaguars could get him at 14 a year, I’d be cool with it. At this price though? I’d rather draft a quarterback of the future at 7 and sign Teddy Bridgewater as the bridge over the water. Nick Foles is not worth 21 million per year. Simple as that.
