Otto Porter Had To Miss The Last Play Of The Bulls/Sixers Game Because He Was 'Mid Stride' In A Drug Test

Well let’s go ahead and chalk this up to one of the weirdest endings to a game that I can remember.

Zach LaVine hit a go-ahead layup which appeared to be at the buzzer.

So naturally people started moving off the court including Otto Porter. Well, Porter had his drug test so he was grabbed by the guys and started the drug test thinking the game was over.

Then you can hear Porter say it. He was mid-stride. We all know what that means. Once you start going you can’t stop. It stings.

Luckily for the Bulls they were able to get the stop with about .5 second left. I would imagine there would be some sort of outcry if they lost the game because Porter was in mid drug test and not able to come back to the court. I do wonder if we could make this a thing though. Imagine if a team could use a drug test on an opposing player once a year mid game.
