People Are Upset About Motivators At The Gym & I Don't Understand It

On the latest episode of ZeroBlog30 Chaps & Cons go off on a rant about ‘military workout bros’ clogging up the gyms in their boots & utes. They lament the videos they take of themselves, the motivating and/or hardo captions, the unconventional equipment they use… (“You have a guy with a screwdriver just pounding a bolder into sand and that’s what he calls a workout?!” – Chaps)

To them I say, stop being a hater. Everyone wants to complain that the military is getting out of shape, or that those who want to serve are so overweight that they can’t.

And even worse, those complaining aren’t exactly the peak of fitness.

So hey, if you want to blow 20 lines of NoXPlode, tear off your cami blouse like the Hulk, run amok in the gym at lunch time, and then post a thousand angles of yourself posing in a mirror, I say go to town. You do you. And God speed with those protein poops.

In all honesty, yes, I do roll my eyes sometimes at the hardos. But I also think as long as you’re not getting in anyone’s way & you’re just trying to better yourself & motivate others, doooo it! Lord knows I could use the help.

And though I disagreed with Chaps & Cons on that front, all three of us agreed about a story coming out of Notre Dame this week. To hear more about it, check out today’s ZBT & like and subscribe to the pod. It’ll pump you up.
