Two Cats In Silicon Valley Live In A $1500 Studio Apartment By Themselves, Are The Purrfect Tenants

CBS- They may be Silicon Valley’s most unusual and pampered tenants: two cats are staying in a casita located behind a single family home in Willow Glen.

Louise and Tina like to lounge around the cat tree. According to landlord David Callisch, they mind themselves, don’t complain, and the $1,500/month rent comes on time.

If anyone was wondering, it took me 25 minutes to come up with that cat pun in the title. But I digress. Basically, when Victoria Amith went off to college, she couldn’t take her cats, and her cats didn’t get along with her Dad’s dog. And so, this unusual solution was born.

First of all, this is like, a sad apartment. It doesn’t even have a kitchen. 1500 a month for that? I pay less than that in New York City. Silicone Valley must really be having a housing crisis and I can understand why if their apartments are being rented by cats.

I feel like this was a weird, expensive solution to a problem that could have been solved by Victoria not being a little bitch and just hiding the cats in her dorm. I knew six different people freshman year who were hiding cats. It’s not that hard Victoria! Like we get it, your family is RICH rich. Some of y’all have never hid a cat in your dorm room to avoid paying 1500 a month to house them in a sad, busted apartment and it shows.

Anyways, this is just a fluff piece (ha, get it), but damn. Rich people need to be stopped. I can’t read another story like this. It just reminds me that I don’t even have a bedroom door and these cats have a whole ass apartment.
