It'll Be Awesome If This Girl On 'The Bachelor' Pretends To Have An Australian Accent For The Whole Season

What a clip! Best teaser ever! Please please please please please do that for the whole season, Bri. Please. For all of us. The Bachelor hasn’t even started yet and my hype level is at an all time high. What a great storyline that would be. It’s a great idea on her part because there’s zero chance the producers send her home if she keeps it up. Her fake Australian accent is her golden ticket for as long as she does it. Like yeah, Colton likes Bri a lot and we’re five weeks into the show but she still hasn’t told him her Australian accent is fake. That would be an incredible running sub plot. Imagine the reveal?

After 22 seasons we’ve seen just about everything we can see from a reality TV show about one person dating 25 random people at once but we’ve never seen someone fake an accent for attention. It takes a lot to do something new and original after 20+ seasons but Bri has done it. Unfortunately the truth is that she’s probably gonna abandon the accent the second Colton enters the house but I really hope she doesn’t. Bri should at least give us two episodes where she 100% commits to the Australian accent and tricks Colton and then immediately gets sent home when she reveals it to him.

By the way, The Bachelor premieres the same night as the college football National Championship. It happens every year and it’s the worst night of my year on Twitter. I have two TVs and will be watching both but people don’t understand that concept so they will still get mad at me for live tweeting The Bachelor. It happens every single year. I tweet about The Bachelor while also watching the National Championship, anonymous Twitter users call me various homophobic slurs and it’s just the worst. Some people just can’t comprehend the fact that a) it’s possible to watch two things at once and b) that a person would dare watch anything other than sports 24/7/365. They do have a point, though. This is Barstool SPORTS after all.
