Justin Thomas Placing A Divot On Tiger's Bald Spot Means Team USA Is Unstoppable

I’ll be honest, I was furious when I saw that picture of Justin Thomas putting a divot on Tiger’s bald spot. I was so steaming mad. I already have a weird view of JT because of things that’ve happened between him and Barstool and I simply couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Nobody disrespects the GOAT like that. That’s Tiger fucking Woods. 14 majors. 80 wins. Countless goosebump-indcuing moments. He’s not just some guy we all point and laugh at for having a giant bald spot on his skull. Justin Thomas was being disrespectful to one of the most dominant athletes of all time and I was prepared to be an enemy of JT’s forever. But the more I thought about it, the better I felt about it. Tiger letting down his guard and just being another dude on Team USA is the best possible thing for our Ryder Cup chances. Because in the past Tiger’s attitude towards other players has been……….icy. To put it kindly.

Not anymore. He’s older now and has softened. He’s approachable and appreciative of everyone he encounters. Go back and look what he said after he won at East Lake. He keeps talking about how he’s just grateful to have the opportunity to keep playing. Now put yourself in the shoes of guys like JT and Jordan Spieth. They grew up IDOLIZING the guy and he’s the reason they wanted to pick up a club in the first place. So now they finally get to be on a Ryder Cup team with him and he’s just one of the boys. You can bust his balls just like anybody else. That’s gotta do wonders for team chemistry. And the younger guys will wanna impress him because he’s Tiger Woods. So the fact that Tiger’s now in Guys Being Dudes mode is very very good news. He’s a mix of Yoda Tiger and Winning Tiger and that’s REAL bad news for the Europeans.
