Good Vibes: People Line Up To Foster Shelter Dogs Through Hurricane Florence

If that doesn’t tug on your heartstrings a little…

For those in an area effected by Hurricane Florence that have the means, consider checking out your local shelter before you take your final precautions. Thanks to dozens of kind people who did that at the Saving Grace shelter & adoption center (between Durham & Wake Forest) they were able to get over 100+ dogs to safety this week:

We are grateful for those individuals in our community who stepped up yesterday to open their homes to 124 Saving Grace dogs. All these dogs came to us in need, some from evacuated shelters this week and some have been with us prior to “Florence” waiting for their forever homes. It was a quiet day today as we used our time to deep clean crates and get ready for displaced dogs who will need help after the storm. We may have a small shelter but our volunteers and the difference they make in the lives of many is huge!

Consider it an extra helper to protect the storm beers.

Our own @BarstoolReags reached out to let me know his parents are some of those good people who took a pup in to foster down in Charleston, SC. They would love to find a permanent home for him in the process so hit him up if you’re interested!
