It Is With A Heavy Heart I Must Report That Todd Frazier Has Been Exposed As A Liar

A sad day for baseball, a sad day for the Mets, a sad day for humanity as a whole. What are we without our morals? Savages, that’s what. We might as well toss our clothes to the fire and move back into the wild with the animals if this is what we’ve devolved into. You’d think an organization like the Metropolitans wouldn’t stand for such behavior but here we are. You really have to wonder if baseball can withstand another scandal like this considering they still haven’t fully recovered from the Mitchell Report. I’m starting to fret that this year’s World Series might be called off after this.

Because now you have a Little League World Series hero playing in the big leagues in his backyard skirting the rules of this country’s great pastime. Quite frankly it’s disgusting, and a clear sign of institutional chaos from top to bottom throughout all levels and ranks. Not only did Todd Frazier lie to the officials, the gatekeepers of the sport, but to then have the gall and unmitigated temerity to march back to the dugout, bragging and boasting all the while to anyone within earshot about his misdeed, is one of the most blatant acts of disrespect towards authority in the history of the moving picture. David Wright would never stoop down and engage in such a treasonous act of treachery.
