Chinese Kindergarten Welcomes Kids Back To School With Pole Dancing
CNN — A Chinese kindergarten principal has been fired after she welcomed students back to school at the beginning of term with a pole dancing display.
Hundreds of children and parents at the Xinshahui kindergarten in Shenzhen, in the southern province of Guangdong, watched as a female pole dancer performed on a flag pole in a large courtyard.
Videos posted by parents on Monday show the skimpily-dressed dancer spinning and leaning seductively on the flagpole, from which a Chinese flag was flying.
Speaking to state media, the principal Lai Rong said there had been 500 children aged three to six and 100 parents in attendance.
Gotta be honest, had you told me it’s normal in China to welcome kids back to school with pole dancers I wouldn’t have batted an eye. I mean, it’s China, wouldn’t be crazy to welcome children back from the long summer break with naked chicks swirling around flagpoles like it’s the Spearmint Rhino. You tell me it’s custom for Chinese parents to give their kids 5 bucks for lunch money and 5 singles for entertainment, I probably don’t have the confidence to call bullshit.
China’s just a different place. Different culture. Impossible for folks like us to know what is or isn’t acceptable over there.
So I reached out to Donnie for official comment. He submitted the following:
“Those are the same parents that trust people like me to mold the minds of their kids. I think some lady showing off to their kids how athletic she is on a pole is the least of their worries”
Perfectly said, as always.
Now to be frank, this whole story has me horny for one thing and it’s probably not the thing you might suspect — I absolutely cannot wait for the public shaming of this principle. Best tradition going by far.
