HBO Just Dropped A 'True Detective' Season 3 Teaser Trailer Outta The Clouds

OH HELL YES! OUTTA THE CLOUDS!

Am I the only one who had no clue there was even a Season 3 in the works? I legitimately had no idea this was a thing. Maybe I live under a rock but I’m happy it happened. We’re far enough removed from the train wreck that was Season 2 that I’m fully prepared for the next installment of True Detective. The first season was so goddamn good. I’m ready for more television like that. I don’t wanna spend too much time harping about how bad Season 2 was but I almost think they should call this upcoming season with Mahershala Ali the second season of TD. We as a society will just choose to forget about Nick Pizzolatto and Vince Vaughn’s god awful one liners. I’m down if HBO is down.

Anyway. I’m ALL IN on Season 3. I’m ready to wash the taste of Season 2 outta my mouth. I can’t fucking wait.
