This Is What It Looks Like When A Warehouse Storing Fireworks, Oil And Hay Blows The Fuck Up

GALLUP, N.M. – A massive fire erupted near a gas station in Gallup Wednesday night, sending flames and a large plume of smoke into the air. The metal buildings that caught fire were storing oil, fireworks, hay, according to McKinley County spokesman Doug Decker. It’s located along Highway 491, about five miles north of I-40. Witnesses lined up along the road to record video of the fire. Several explosions were heard, but no injuries were reported.

KA-BOOM! Explosions are the goddamn best. There’s something primal about watching a good explosion. I’m not talking about planned explosions. I hate firework displays but give me a spontaneous explosion and I’m all the way in. And we now have an answer to the age old question, “What are the three dumbest things you can store together in the same warehouse?” The answer is fireworks, oil and hay. Because when that warehouse inevitably explodes it’s gonna EXPLODE. It’s a miracle nobody got hurt. Or maybe it’s not a miracle cause everybody in that town probably knew that’s where the all the fireworks, oil and hay was stored. You grow up in that town, you know to stay the hell away from the Fireworks, Oil and Hay Warehouse. Everybody knows that.

But really, why? Who thought that was gonna be a good idea? A warehouse storing those items is something Wile E. Coyote would come up with. I don’t wanna say they were asking for that fire to happen but they were asking for it. I’ll even go as far as to say I’m glad it happened. Now we know what a warehouse full of fireworks, oil and hay looks like when it blows the fuck up. Feels good to have that in the internet library.
