Seth Rogen Is The New Voice Of Vancouver's Public Transit System

CNN- In a video announcement, Rogen says he “grew up taking public transit my whole life and I still use public transit when I’m in the city.” “When the opportunity came up to be a voice of public transportation, I was thrilled,” Rogen said. “I am honestly always looking for ways to participate in Canadian culture and to put the spotlight on Canada.” Vanagas said TransLink accepted Rogen’s offer “in the pursuit of providing a better customer experience and to share pride in the region.” On social media, Vancouverites seemed thrilled at the idea of hearing Rogen’s voice during their commute.

Seth Rogen is awesome and gets to do awesome things and this is for sure one of them. What a dream come true for him. He’s quickly on his way to becoming the most successful stoner of all time. Some would argue he’s already there but I don’ think he’s there quite yet. He’s certainly already on the Mount Rushmore of stoners and I’d say the only guys standing in Rogen’s way at this point are probably Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson and he’s nipping at their heels.

Anyway. These are the types of things that would make being super uber famous really really fun. Yeah it’s great to have millions upon millions of dollars in the bank and millions of adoring fans but the best part to me would be doing things like becoming the voice of your hometown public transit system. That’s the coolest. Getting to be a part of the daily lives of the people who live in your hometown is awesome. On the flip side, who wouldn’t want to hear Seth Rogen talk every day on their commute? I’m serious. He’s got a great well-known voice. Hopefully he threw a few laughs in there cause the only thing better than his voice is his throaty chuckle. Everybody wins in this situation (well everyone except Morgan Freeman who was supposed to have the job but he caught a few sexual harassment allegations and got fired from the gig whoops).
