Wake Up With An NBA Countdown: Best Assists Of 2018

Orlando Magic v Indiana Pacers

Good morning everybody, happy Monday. Here we are, back at it again staring another full week of work right in the goddamn face. Moral is at an all time low, and while I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, at this point in time we’re all in the same boat. That is why for today’s video I needed to find something long (12 minutes should do the trick!) that was both equally impressive and motivating. Today it’s all about helping others. I’m helping you delay answering that huge collection of emails in your inbox, and the players in this video are helping their teammates, often through flashy passing.

For me, I will always have a weakness for awesome passes. It jazzes me up almost as much as any possibly basketball play. Whether it’s a beautiful bounce pass, or some sort of awesome fast break between the legs or behind the back dish, it doesn’t matter to me. You want to talk no look passes? I’ll get chubbed just thinking about them. I think part of the reason why is because as a kid growing up and watching so much basketball, the one thing that I always felt related so much to me was dishing the rock. Sure if I had the ability to dunk and all that shit maybe that would have stood out, but sadly that was not in the cards during my playing days.

And honestly, there are few things more beautiful in my eyes that a player can do on a basketball court than a perfectly executed pass. I am fully aware of how much of a pussy that makes me sound but I won’t hide my truth. You could suck in almost any other offensive area, but if you are a badass passer I will have love for you. I feel like the greatest passers just have it engraned in their DNA, and once you get to the NBA I feel like everyone can shoot, and everyone can dunk, but not everyone can pass. Give me a guy with great vision over a guy with great athleticism any day of the week. Like of all the great aspects of LeBron’s game, the one thing I enjoy most is his passing. Hell, I’m still President of the Rajon Rondo fan club and it ain’t because he turned into a somewhat respectable three point shooter.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this nice little Top 50 countdown from last season and it helps you get your day going. As always if there’s a player or some other sort of play you’d like to start your day with just list them in the comments below. Otherwise have yourself a great Monday, and know the weekend is just 5 more days away.
