LiAngelo Ball Shoots A Cool 1 For 1,000 During His NBA Workout

Live look at Liangelo Ball’s future in the league:

“Send that boy back to college to get his education” says it perfectly.  Think Lavar will listen to those wise words?  I bet.  Seems like a reasonable fellow.

Jack Baer at Yahoo summed it up pretty nicely as well when wondering JUST what went wrong with Liangelo’s career thus far:

Maybe it was when he left the UCLA basketball team after being arrested in China for shoplifting. Maybe it was when he shot 24.3 percent from three-point range in Lithuania and left the team earlier than expected. Maybe it was when he worked out for only the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors in the pre-draft process. Or maybe he was just never good enough at basketball to be drafted, as NBA executives believed.

Tough to pinpoint exactly which one it is, could be a confluence of factors.  Also that 0.00000000001% shooting percentage against thin air might not translate well to real NBA defenses and their complicated schemes.

Real tough to see a kid with so much promise go undrafted, even after the push from his fans.
