There Is No Chance This High School Football Prospect Is Only 15 Years Old

(24/7 Sports) – Lincoln 2021 athlete Julien Simon was named a MaxPreps Freshman All-American this past fall. Making the jump to varsity as a ninth grader wasn’t that big for Simon.

“It’s just playing football,” said Simon. “It was like youth football, just at a higher pace, but it was still just football.”

Simon doesn’t yet have an offer but it is only a matter of time before they start coming in for the 6-2, 210-pounder.

“Colleges like Washington and Utah have already been reaching out to my coach,” said Simon. “It will be nice to see what is in store for me this spring.”

Last summer, Simon camped with Washington at their first Rising Stars Camp and he’ll go back this summer.

“I worked at receiver mainly at their camp last summer, but this time they want to see me on defense,” said Simon.

I mean, there’s just no chance. I refuse to believe this gargantuan human being is only 15 years of age. That’s just Leonard Fournette playing a summer prank on everyone. That’s the only reasonable answer to this video I’ll be accepting at this current time.

This kid gets to run against high school defenses for THREE more years of his life before going off to Bama and splitting carries with a couple other equally large human beings. That’s assuming he doesn’t grow six more inches and starts lining up as an edge rusher. Or maybe by then he’ll be doing both, who knows, I’m surely not about to put a cap on this kid’s potential. He might play 1-on-11 like Nelson Muntz just because he can.

I also love how Washington and Utah are looking at him and thinking about changing his position. Just get this kid in the door and let him play whatever position he wants. Receiver, running back, safety, punter, absolutely whatever. Meanwhile, Saban’s been plotting towards building this archetype at running back for several years now. This is just the next logical step in the natural Pokémon evolution chart from Mark Ingram to Derrick Henry to finally Julien Simon in 2021.
