Huffington Post - A missing Indonesian woman has been found dead inside the belly of a 23-foot-long python, village officials said.
To kill their prey, reticulated pythons wrap themselves around an animal and crush it, causing it to suffocate or go into cardiac arrest, according to the BBC.

Looking back on that last paragraph, I probably should have said my condolences before I declared my excitement upon seeing this story, but we can’t change the past we can only learn from it. I’m sorry Tiba family. I’m sorry about Wa, but 23-foot pythons get the blood flowing and sometimes I just need that on a Monday morning.
That video is fucking insane. The fact that there are 23-foot pythons capable of swallowing (albeit undoubtedly tiny) humans head first is simply horrifying and something I absolutely do not fuck with. I really appreciate snakes. I wish I was a snake guy but I chose to lead a different life. My aunt and uncle had a Boa Constrictor named “Dor Bor” when I was a kid and he was big and horribly intimidating. My aunt used to take him out of his cage and hold him while I scurried away with pee pee in my pants. Great snake though. Never hurt a fly, other than the rats he used to eat. But “Dor Bor” was only like 8 feet and although an 8-foot Boa certainly has the strength to fuck you up, it’s not swallowing you head first. That’s a whole different game, folks.
If I lived in a place with the threat of a 23-foot python snatching me up from my garden and eating me alive, the first thing I would do is move. I’d move far away and never look back. I’m gonna go on record and say any snake 10-foot and smaller has my utmost support. I think you’re cool and I’m happy to share a planet with you. If you’re any bigger than that though, you gotta go. I’m still gonna run for the fucking hills, but after that I’m gonna sit down with some big brained individuals and figure this out. Wa Tiba deserved better than this. Wa Tiba deserved better.
