Twitter CEO Pressured Into Apology After Eating Chick-fil-A During Pride Month

It has to be fucking exhausting to be the who-is-eating-Chick-fil-A police. People are eating it all the time. People crush so much Chick-fil-A that I didn’t even realize that anyone was actively protesting it. I asked my pal Gay Pat his thoughts on the issue, he said that he originally protested Chick-fil-A for like a month back in 2012 when their CEO Dan Cathy said he backed the “biblical definition of the family unit.” Since then, it has kind of trickled into the background. I’ve eaten Chick-fil-A with gay friends and co-workers. I didn’t realize it was that deep. And frankly it seems short sighted to deprive yourself from their delicious chicken just because someone in their company has a shitty thought process.

Even more frankly, boycotting Chick-fil-A probably doesn’t hurt their bottom line. In fact it probably invigorates any wahoo on the other side who is incensed that the gays are even playing into his dinner selection to change his order of a 10-piece to a 20-piece. That’ll show ‘em.

Further, if other companies want to trump Chick-fil-A and their ethics maybe they should figure out how to make a similarly delicious glaze on a grilled chicken sandwich. IMG_3245IMG_3246
