Frank Walks Episode 45: Bryan Hodgson presented by BODYARMOR
I was recently joined by special guest Rico Bosco as I walked with Arkansas State coach Bryan Hodgson. Coach Hodgson is a rising star in college basketball, leading Arkansas State to consecutive 20-win seasons for the first time in program history. The Red Wolves had a 22-9 record this season and earned a share of the Sun Belt regular season championship. They will play in the conference tournament this weekend, seeking their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 26 years.
During our walk in Jonesboro, we discussed the success of Arkansas State as well as the challenges of landing players in the NIL era at mid-major. Before his first head coach job at Arkansas State, Bryan Hodgson was an assistant at Alabama, helping Nate Oates make them a basketball power.
