Frank Walks Episode 43: Cameron Dicker presented by BODYARMOR
Cameron Dicker was the first NFL player to be born in Hong Kong. Spending 11 years in China as a youth, Dicker grew up a fan of Liverpool FC of the EPL. Upon his family's move to Texas, Cameron Dicker attended Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas, a hotbed for future professional athletes.
Cameron Dicker stayed in Austin and went to the University of Texas, becoming the top kicker in the Big XII conference. After making his debut with the Philadelphia Eagles in place of an injured Jake Elliott, Dicker has been the kicker for the Los Angeles Chargers since 2022. Among the most consistent kickers in the NFL, Cameron Dicker became the first player to make a fair catch field goal during the 2024 season.
During a walk in New Orleans, I talked to Cameron Dicker about his unique background and what it is like to be a kicker in the NFL.
