Just from that highlight reel (worth every second IMO), I think I can speak for everybody when I say: What a season. From fat shaming to beer chugging to debates for days, we had a blast.
When Dave first reached out to me about joining Barstool, this is exactly what we both had in mind. A college football show that took us to the next level. A show that fans could watch, enjoy, interact and not get slapped in the face with stuff that’s forced on network TV every day. We wanted it to be authentic. Funny. Honest. Informational. Huge.
And we did exactly that. We delivered the BEST college show in the nation (I’m not biased).
Big thanks to Panera and Bud Light. Big thanks to our Barstool production crew (even you Pete, no matter what the boys say!), the TV studio crew and the road crew that made our lives soooo much easier every week. People forget how much goes into making these shows actually work and work as well as this one did. It’s not like we can just show up, talk shit to each other and eat Mac N Cheese easily. It takes a ton of work behind the scenes.
And of course, those live shows were incredible. Our audience is way more passionate than anybody else’s. Way more fun. Way more “common man.” Just way better.
