The Air Force is sending a clear message: reenlisting with a dinosaur puppet on your right hand isn’t funny.

Three Tennessee Air National Guard individuals involved in a viral dinosaur puppet reenlistment video have been removed from their posts — one immediately retired with a demotion — and reprimanded for undermining the gravity of the oath of enlistment, officials said Wednesday.

Uhhhh… I… uhhh…. I’m not sure how so many steps in this process failed. It’s baffling. Youd think there would be some officer, some senior NCO along the way to say, “ya know what, can we not?”

I’ve seen people re-enlist in a multitude of ways. Diving from planes, scuba diving, jumping from planes, parachuting, in free fall, on the golf course. You name it, and it’s been done. Except for the dinosaur puppet thing. I guess I’m glad that the Air Force took this seriously. Cant have people puppeteering during the oath of enlistment. That’s below us!
