Battle Rapper Fakes His Own Death To Get Out Of A Rap Battle

Damn, this looks like a sad post from a battle rapper. Until you realize that he was not dead at all, just under prepared for his rap battle. Going through the story, it seems like Brandon Paul, aka ATM, had a post wind up on his Facebook announcing his death. Just minutes later, the post from him was deleted and there was another post scolding anyone who made fun of his death. From how he tells it, he was pronounced dead and was dead for about 20 minutes, during which someone posted online on his account that he was dead

Within minutes, however, ATM was back alive and back online. This time he had posted that he was dead for 15 to 20 minutes, heard people saying he wasn’t going to make it, then sprung up like the Undertaker.

When he caught wind that people were making fun of his brush with death, he was none too happy.

What’s weird is that ATM is a funny battle rapper, and I obviously don’t know everything that’s going on, but the whole situation just rings pretty damn weird. Battle rap is already a weird place that attracts weird people (hence–me) but lately it has devolved into a free for all for creative people with mediocre ideas.

ATM was mercilessly roasted by other battle rappers for his time on the other side.
