Source Two escaped inmates sought in the killings of two guards on a Georgia prison bus were captured after a chase and being held at gunpoint by a rural Tennessee homeowner whose vehicle they were trying to steal, authorities said.

Donnie Rowe, 43, and Ricky Dubose, 24, were apprehended Thursday in the rural community of Christiana, Tennessee, ending a multi-state manhunt that began Tuesday morning.

‘True bravery is what’s caused us to stand before you tonight to talk about a successful capture instead of a tragic incident,’ Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director Mark Gwyn said at a news conference. ‘So I’m totally grateful to everyone involved.’

The trooper said the homeowner looked outside and saw the two allegedly trying to steal his car. The man held the two at gunpoint with a neighbor he called for help until the sheriff’s department could get there to arrest the fugitives.

How about all these people in the world that have the balls to do risky, courageous shit? Unbelievable. These escaped prisoners who just murdered two prison guards are trying to jack this guy’s car, so he apprehends them at gunpoint until the sheriff arrives? What? Is that a joke? Who does that? Buddy, if I peep out my window and I see these 2 psychopaths fucking with my car I cower in the corner until I hear them peeling out in my driveway. I pray for them to steal my car. I might even grab the key and unlock it remotely. Maybe activate the remote starter, give a little honk to encourage urgency.

I am definitely not confronting anybody. I am definitely not doing anything ever at gunpoint. Kudos to this hero for apprehending these guys and preventing harm being done to his fellow neighbors and citizens.
