Pizza Hut Releases Shoes That Let You Order A Pizza By Pushing A Button On The Tongue

Engadget - Pizza Hut is no stranger to using tech as a promo tool, but its latest may be particularly appealing if you’re looking for new footwear. It just unveiled a pair of Bluetooth shoes, Pie Tops (yes, we know), that order a large pizza for you at the press of a button on the tongue — think of them as Reebok Pumps that fill you up instead. As you might guess, there’s a mobile app to both set your order defaults and change the button push requirements. You don’t have to worry that you’ll accidentally order a Super Supreme while you’re out playing basketball.

Pie Tops! Brilliant. If there’s one thing I love it’s a gimmicky sneaker release. I love the light up Starbury’s, I loved the Dada Spinners, and I love a pair of shoes that let’s me order pizza with one push of the tongue. In the 90s we all pumped up our Reeboks and thought we were going to dunk and play pro ball. Now it’s 2017 and we’re like “ah, fuck it. Let’s just order pizza.”

I just need them to make this for a local pizza place. Or fuck, at least Dominos to let me order some Cheesy Bread. If you order Pizza Hut you’re a POOR. I did it a couple months back when my wife had a pregnancy craving and I’ve legit never felt worse about myself. As soon as I placed the order I felt like I needed to go on unemployment and then as soon as I ate it I wanted to apply for welfare. Just terrible.

PS – Shout out to Grant Hill still out there on his grind. Must be all out of that Fila money.
