One Of The Craziest Double Plays I've Ever Seen Takes Us Into The Weekend
I just keep watching this play over and over on loop. It’s like a pinball game with people. The all-time “That’s baseball, Suzyn” mement. I’m not sure how they could do trick shot fielding competition during the All-Star break, but that would be a pretty decent lead-in to the Home Run Derby.
And I still can’t believe the Mets didn’t lose one of last year’s World Series games in this fashion, yet it would’ve only been like the 10th most heartbreaking thing that happened. And I think this year’s Mets have already put me in the mindset where I openly root for every other team in baseball to lose, even though that’s impossible. It’s a dark time in Metsland.
