Am I Crazy To Think That The Wu-Tang Clan Could Be Behind Martin Shkreli's Arrest?

KMarko blogged about Martin Shkreli getting arrested for fraud this morning.   Obviously being one of the most disliked people on the Internet these days didn’t do Shkreli any favors.  But am I crazy to think that the Wu had a hand in his arrest?

Like KFC blogged the other day, Shkreli bought the only copy of the new Wu-Tang album for $2 million.  Later it was revealed that the contract had language in it stating that the members of the Wu-Tang, or Bill Murray, were allowed one attempt to try and steal the album back.  And if that wasn’t enough motivation for the boys from Shaolin, the Daily News reported this yesterday:

Shkreli also discussed Wu-Tang Clan’s “Once Upon a Time in Shoalin” album, which he refuses to play on a live stream. When asked about sharing it, he said, laughing, “if Taylor Swift wants to come over and suck my d—, I’ll play it for her.”

He tells HipHopDX that he felt “insulted” that RZA, founding and current member of Wu-Tang Clan, commented on the deal. “If I hand you $2 million, f—— show me some respect,” Shkreli said. “At least have the decency to say nothing or ‘no comment.'”

Has Martin Shkreli ever listened to a Wu-Tang album?  Doesn’t he know they are the one hip hop entity you do not fuck with?  2Pac talked shit about every New York rapper back in the day.  You know who he didn’t make a peep about?  The Wu-Tang Clan.  I could see the Wu-Tang acting like Stan Valchek in The Wire, telling a couple of diehard fans in the FBI to cool Shkreli off in jail like the Baltimore P.D. cracked down on Frank Sobotka and the dock workers.  I am not saying they snitched or anything.  Just told the FBI to lock that guy up so they can put their master plan to work.  Is the idea of the Wu-Tang Clan forming a real life version of Ocean’s Eleven along with Bill Murray and Taylor Swift (reprising the Julia Roberts role) all that crazy?  I don’t think so.

So protect ya neck Mr. Shkreli, because the Wu-Tang Clan ain’t nothing to fuck with.   Hope you diversified your bonds, Marty.
