The Colts Learned Real Fast That Paying Daniel Jones To Be Your QB1 Is Going To Have Your Team In Hell

There are very few things that divided Giants fans like Daniel Jones. Clem drove the DanWagon while I was on the other side. Not just here at Barstool, but Giants fans across the world had a Civil War over Daniel Jones. Then we finally realize we're better off without him and his contract and we even had Colts fans saying we held him back last year! Well, look at where we are now. The Giants are better off with QB3 after a trade and now people are floating Daniel Jones back to the Vikings:

People love to blame everything around Daniel Jones, but in reality, he's just not that good. There's also this:

I'm sure he's a nice guy and all but Daniel Jones just leaves teams in hell. The Giants were in hell the moment they gave him a contract. The Colts are basically in a firesale now. You'd think people would learn by now and maybe KOC has something secret with him. Who knows? But why would the Vikings trade for Daniel Jones? It doesn't feel like an upgrade over Kyler and Kyler hasn't been good this year.

We have reporters already talking about how getting out of his contract is huge for the team. Think about how fast that switched. I know he had the injury and that's brutal, but this isn't new with Daniel Jones. That run he had against the Eagles sums up his career. Moments where he can convince a franchise then falls flat on his face with no one around.

Have fun the rest of the year though, Colts. If this is what puts you in the best position to win? Brutal. At least you didn't trade a first round pick for a defensive back that hasn't helped win games.
