The Dumbest Of Times - The Attorney For RJ Luis (Left College, Traded In The NBA) Is Threatening To Bring Will Wade To Court If He Doesn't Play Him This Year
I'm so fucking sick of this guy, man. RJ Luis, his attorney, the whole concept of just suing people to play college sports. Fuck off. The only reason I'm giving this attention is because 1) it's slow today and 2) a good reminder about how dumb this shit is. Will Wade has himself to blame first of all, he could have said we're never going to entertain RJ Luis, because, reminder - RJ Luis left college early, declared for the NBA, got traded in the NBA and then decided to come back to college. Everyone said how dumb it was for him to leave St. John's. Life has consequences, man. You don't get to just come back to college and sue everyone.
Look how dumb this attorney is:
[Source] - "I'm telling you we're going to use the long arm of the law to force Will Wade to play him because I'm not going to allow these folks to play musical chairs," said Clayton, who is also a district attorney in Louisiana. "We would bring in Coach Wade and move to hold him in constructive contempt. I would not advise anyone to be in contempt of court. This judge is real."
Hey, moron, the only person doing musical chairs is RJ Luis. You know the guy who transferred to St. John's, decided to leave early and now said he wants to come back (and transfer again). That's musical chairs. How fucking stupid can we be here? This is college sports. I'm fine with the 5-for-5 rule coming in next year. But what are we doing here with all these lawsuits and lawyers trying to determine who can play college basketball? How about we put people with brains who care about the sport in charge of the sport instead? Get any of these assholes away from the game.
This is truly the dumbest of times in college sports. I can't get over this threat.
