Lane Kiffin Admitting That He Thinks About The Kentucky Game Every Day And Is Still 'Haunted' By It Makes That Win Somehow Even Better

Our pal and the number 1 college football media personality in the world Brandon Walker had Lane Kiffin on his show yesterday:

Lane talked about playoff expansion, moving to LSU, I don't care about any of that. I care about him still admitting that he's haunted by the Kentucky game. I love that he thinks about it every day. Him saying that punt was calculated, just doesn't give me a smile. I'm getting lotion out when I hear that. Knowing that Lane punted the ball and Will Stein hunted his ass for the win makes me rock hard.

And it's not like Kentucky has stopped after this win. But beating LSU cemented that Will Stein has this program ready to compete with anyone in the country. This is the win that changed the entire way we view Kentucky this season. They could have done the beat bad teams, lose to good teams. But, no, 7-1 with 4 left means we've beaten good teams and this is the game we hang our hat on. It signaled the new era and everyone buying into Will Stein.

You'd think if a punt was calculated he'd also calculate Kenny Minchey running it in with no one around, then giving us an iconic shrug

Just knowing that every day Lane Kiffin wakes up and thinks about that moment should let the country know that Kentucky is real. This wasn't a fluke. Great interview and this is now all I can think about.
