The Knicks Ring/Banner Ceremony Was A Dream Come True, Especially With Reggie Miller Sitting Inside MSG To Watch It

Everything about this was perfect. It almost made me forget the 53 year wait. I mean, look at all of this:

A dream come true. When you had Mike Breen on the mic, the 1973 team helping with the rings, the camera cutting to Ewing and Starks in the crowd smiling? Yeah, enough to make a 40-year old man cry. I'm not even one who sheds tears, but I felt them coming. Not ashamed to say that. You also had the old school NBA on NBC music, which can no longer hurt us 

And speaking of that. The sneaky best part? This guy sitting front and center for it all

That fucking asshole. A guy who will always be an enemy to us. Just perfect that after our 53-year wait the Knicks are raising a banner while Reggie (ringless) is sitting there. We are a team built on hate first. Nothing defined hate like Reggie and those Heat teams when Pat Riley went there. I think the Knicks should have invited all of the assholes of our past back, just for one last time.
