A New Rivalry: Key Alves Just Won A Volleyball Championship In Brazil, Now Eager To Beat Her Twin Sister For Titles In The US

We talked about Keyt just over two weeks ago. Called it the offseason move of the year. It makes sense, she's a 2-time champ in Brazil and joined Nebraska in League One Volleyball. Everyone had to be made aware of that. Well, there's something else we need to be made aware about.

Her twin sister Key who is ready for a rivalry. Why? She just won in Brazil and is coming over to League One Volleyball too:

We've had our fair share of twin/sibling rivalries in sports. The Morris twins, the Gasol brothers, the Cavinder twins. Well, now we can add the Alves twins. Everyone knows Nebraska vs Los Angeles is the most fierce rivalry. You don't just go to Big 10 country and expect to not hate each other. Think about how much you wanted to beat your sibling in backyard games or video games or whatever it might be. Now we're going to see it in the best volleyball league in the world (I assume).

This isn't Key's first run in LOVB either. She was on the Houston team, tore her ACL, went back to Brazil to play and is ready to come back to LA. That's an easier sell than Nebraska, but I digress. She's guaranteeing titles and will have to go through her sister for them. Congrats on the title this week.
