Let me begin by saying, my heart goes out to the Kings faithful. You want to talk about a fanbase that has been dragged through the depths of hell, it's hard to find a better case than Kings fans. From fighting to keep the Kings in Sacramento, to being forced to deal with incompetent front offices and coaches, from roster that make no goddamn sense, from seeing awesome players get traded for some unknown reason only to flourish elsewhere, from giving up on prospects only to see them hit with other teams, it's been a pretty brutal existence these last 21 years or so

so I feel for Kings fans. This isn't their fault, they do their part and support their team even though they've mostly been dogshit for the past two decades. But the reality is that the Kings have unfortunately returned back to their KANGZ status for the foreseeable future

Our latest example? How about their owner Vivek Ranadivé kicking off the new season by trying some sort of weird roast approach where he spent some time shitting all over the front office and coaches for their failure. Wait, what?

YIKES. Talk about awkward. What exactly did Vivek think was going to happen here? The crazy part is, at the end of the day all of the Kings' failures fall on HIIM! He's the owner! He makes all the final decisions! Talk about a lack of self awareness, my lord. What a bizarre thing to do as the owner right before the season starts, but again, that's the KANGZ doing KANGZ shit. It's a great example of just how dysfunctional they are, and it clearly starts at the top. The owner sets the tone for the entire organization, and pretty much everything Vivek has done since taking over has been a disaster, so his move is to instead roast and shit on everyone else? Brutal.

How about you just be normal? Why is that so hard for the Kings? I'm not asking you to be great. I'm not asking you to be a world class championship caliber organization. I'm saying just be normal. Stop putting your fanbase through absolute hell at every turn while making yourself come off as one of the biggest jokes in the sport. How hard can that be? I mean they can't even have a pre-season team dinner without embarrassing themselves. Just think about that. What other franchise can we say that about? I would just love to know what Vivek thought the end game was with this. Did he think embarrassing and roasting his entire organization would be some sort of motivation while everyone in the audience clearly knows he's probably their biggest problem? That's inspiring? Coming from this guy?

As you can probably tell, there unfortunately isn't a whole lot to be excited about as a Kings fan right now. It's a tough life when you can't even go a single day without some sort of embarrassing story coming out about your team, so my advice would be do your best to ignore all that and put your focus solely on Darius Acuff Jr. At least he's having some moments so far in the preseason, and even though there's a strong chance the Kings do something dumb and trade him before his rookie contract is up, at least try and enjoy him while you can
