Now that Steph Curry is officially a sneaker free agent and allowed to wear whatever shoes he wants, we've seen him start to rock a variety of different looks. The other night he warmed up in some Kobe 6s as a way to pay tribute to Kobe and Gianna Bryant

Tonight, ahead of the Warriors' game against the Magic Steph was back at it. This time, unleashing an all-time throwback shoe. Shaq's Reebok Shaqnosis

Younger stoolies may not quite understand, but make no mistake. This is an iconic shoe

When these first came out in 1995 it was at the height of the Orlando Shaq Era. Those teams were a cultural phenomenon, and for good reason. Shaq, was leading the league in scoring, rebounding, and was top 2 in MVP. He and they were massive. This is the shoe Shaq wore in 1996, when the Magic won 60 games and made the ECF (lost in 4 to MJ)

When I say this shoe was massive, I mean massive. Whenever you see or hear anything about some of the best and most iconic shoes in NBA history, this shoe is (and should be) always mentioned. This is from an era where every shoe didn't look the same and things actually had personality. You may laugh now, but this was high NBA basketball fashion back in the day in a much simpler time.

So for Curry to be rocking them tonight is a great throwback and also pretty funny to see on a guard. Those shoes were not exactly light and built to be worn by guards. The more I think about it, as long as Steph is a sneaker free agent, he should do this with all the great shoes of the past. Show up to a game against the Sixers in the Iversons. Wear a sick pair of Jordans for the Bulls. When the Warriors play the Raptors, wear Vince Carter's Nike Shox. Against the Pistons, rock some Fila's for Grant Hill. Against the Rockets, that's easily the T-Mac 1s. The list goes on and on.

For the second game against the Magic, I'd like to see Steph rock some Penny's. If we're going back to the 90s whenever GS plays ORL, then we can't forget about Lil Penny
