It Would Appear Jaylen Brown's Hairline Has Claimed Another Victim While Playing The Wizards

Jaylen Brown is off to an incredible start to the 2025-26 season. Tasked with the responsibility of officially being "The Guy" and the #1 option, he's responded about as well as humanly possible. I'm talking about 27/4/4 on 52/38% splits with a 62% TS% while playing at an All NBA level. The team may struggle to win, but his individual play? Fantastic.

Unfortunately, the start of the 2025-26 season has also brought us #HairlineGate

and it would appear that while playing the Wizards, we have another fake hairline situation on our hands

I'll be honest, I don't know what the hell is going on. It's not like Jaylen isn't self-aware, he's had fun with this whole thing too. So I guess maybe he's just decided to say fuck it, and this is now going to be a thing? If you are playing the Celtics and wear a white t-shirt under your jersey and are tasked with defending Jaylen Brown, be prepared to deal with some sort of fugazi substance. The more I think about it, maybe that's an advantage? Like a repellent for defenders? In some ways, I kind of like Jaylen continuing to do whatever the hell this is while knowing shit like this is not only possible, but almost guaranteed given how Jaylen plays. He's a physical wing who gets into his defender. Of course his head is going to rub up on some part of that defender's body, and when that happens, you get more moments like this.

What I find confusing is why Jaylen Brown is even doing this in the first place. His hair looks fine? We all age, it's OK. Then again, if he's going to continue playing like this

then I'm almost at the point where I demand he continue doing whatever the hell it is he's doing to his hair. It's obviously taking him to a different level, and that's what I care about most. Let the internet have their jokes, I'll take this All NBA version of Jaylen Brown and we'll call it even.
