"GO FUCK YOURSELF KLEMMER!" Meek Phil Verbally Assaults 50 Year Old Streamer After Gronk Spiking His Own Phone And Arguing About Where To Get It Fixed? Only In America!
There was some true rabble rousing inside Barstool NYC on Friday, arguably TOO much rabbling. But it was also undeniably the most exciting event our office has seen during the entirety of 2025 so I think it deserves another look here.
No matter how you feel about what follows, you gotta tip your cap to Meek Phil & Klemmer for giving us all such a spectacular show. However I must warn all the Meek Freaks out there to buckle up those chinstraps and suck down your 8 green tea shots ASAP.
Cause it's gonna get ugly folks, just how Lord Pageviews likes it.
It all started with the video above, where one of our top social media masters Meek Phil was eagerly watching The Yak hoping he'd land a $10k bonus bet… And he was DAMN close too. But this is a game of inches after all.
A few slots to the right meant Meek's old Beach House pal Danny Conrad would be receiving that bet instead. For whatever reason, this struck Meek right in the cockles of his soul and that feeling of pure anguish forced him to Gronk Spike his phone. Apparently it's something he does all the time and he claims to have the strongest phone case on planet earth? You truly hate to see it, and you best believe the sheer anxiety of working in social media without a working phone has gotta be all-time stuff.
Thankfully his fellow social bros immediately tried to lend a helping hand… Until things started to get ugly FAST which prompted Meek to call a quick 30 second timeout for himself. Veteran move.
The timeout really seemed to work and there was some brief serenity… Now I don't fully understand what happened next but I believe our TikTok legend Shaun was trying to help out by calling Apple to book a repair/replace appointment. That's when known Meek rival & video game streamer extraordinaire Chris Klemmer entered the mix with a seemingly harmless faux pas talking over Shaun AND asking Meek "dumb questions" + giving "bad advice".
God DAMN this company is insanely stupid, what a beautiful sight to see.
Suddenly this wasn't just an office fight but also an international news story, trending all over Twitter and even getting a One Fight Score from our fearless leader Dave Portnoy.
It really is Meek's Phill Mickelson's World, and we're just living in it.

I'd also like to add that one of the best Who's On First aspects about this whole fight was I was actually on a real phone call at the time. Had to hang up after 10 minutes because the yelling simply wouldn't stop. Then called them back thinking it was over and you can see me hang up again in the 2nd video. No sweat off my sack though, boys will be boys.
A completely inaudible phone call is a small price to pay for these epic VIVA #pageviews.

But I do hope Meek & Klemmer can shake hands after all this and still find a way to work with each other. If I can become BFFs with Brandon F. Walker then anything is possible right? And fingers crossed Meek already has a new phone because I'm not sure his mental state can handle a full 48 hours without it. He's too committed to the social media craft and although that's a great trait to have, moderation is key. Plus the last time we saw someone yell & have a full blown breakdown like that in the NYC office, he never came back. For the sake of future Rat Race productions & Mets streams, let's hope Meek Phil doesn't suffer the same fate.
