Perfect Timing: We Got A Report This Morning That Steve Sarkisian's Reps Have Told NFL People He's Interested In Leaving Texas This Year To Become An NFL Head Coach

Oh, well, that's a report to come out in the middle of the season as Texas is fighting for a playoff spot. I mean, it's not like they have a road game today, that screams trap, with this guy staring down at you

I mean, can you blame the guy for getting this out there? Texas has failed to live up to expectations. Arch Manning, not the biggest bust college football has seen like some shitty publications try to say, isn't the Heisman that other people thought he was. They are fine, if they weren't Texas. People keep begging to scream that Texas is back and see them win another title because we all just want to see that 2005 Rose Bowl again.

Now, do I think he's being serious here? Partly, yeah. I mean only 32 guys can be an NFL head coach, so even if it's with the Titans you jump at it. Hell, all you gotta do is be better than Brian Callahan, which doesn't seem like a tough thing to do. But, let's be honest. This isn't the first time that we've seen a major college football coach have a report leak out that he's interested in other jobs, just so he can get more money and feel wanted. It's coaching 101 at this level to have a report like this. It's just not one you want out the morning of a game, because if Texas loses guess what fans are going to be bringing up? This.

As a fan of chaos, I say fuck it, go take the Titans job and give us a coaching carousel starting off with Virginia Tech, Penn State, Texas, UCLA and Arkansas. That's a lot of money and big names to be floating around out there. This is what happens when Kentucky brings you to overtime. You find a way to leave.
