Good Old Fashioned Hate: Baker Mayfield Openly Admits He Despises The Saints, Claims The Saints Basically Always Play Dirty Against Him

I'm a Baker Mayfield guy. Love watching him play as long it's not against the Giants, think he's good and he'll say whatever the fuck is on his mind. It's entertaining, which is half the battle when it comes to sports. Now, throw in the fact we're talking about divisional rivals, one with a history of fighting and you get some good old fashioned hate.

Throwing out the dirty accusations is a massive thing though. Now we're going to have all eyes on for dirty plays. Smart, especially since you know that refs are now aware of this. They will be calling it tight, like every other game we're used to seeing, and probably have too many flags. I do have to admit, I spent far too much reading all the Saints and Bucs fans tweeting about this. It's what makes sports impossible not to love. Every Saints fan is screaming that the Bucs are dirty, they don't care about the Bucs and they aren't even rivals. Every Bucs fan talking about how they are the better team, the Saints are dirty and Baker is basically God. It's what I want from fanbases every week when prepping to be miserable for 60 minutes. 

Hilarious ending to the answer though. Just throwing it out one more time that he does not like the Saints. Wasn't really sure until he clarified here. I gotta give credit to Baker though, I'm now interested in the Bucs/Saints game. I want to see some physicality and a little bit of fighting. I've said it long before that we need to get some hate back in sports. I don't want teams to be buddy-buddy with each other, I want rivalries to matter. I want divisional games to matter and have a different feel. This is a step toward that.
