I'm Bracing Myself For What Could Be A Nightmare Of A Game At Arrowhead On MNF

First things first- this is obviously the correct decision. Jayden suffered a hammy injury in the Cowboys game and the Commanders are gonna keep him on the mend for a week and get him fully healthy. I don't think there's any argument in favor of playing an injured franchise-quarterback...we all know how that goes.

So let's all mentally prepare ourselves for the worst on Monday Night Football in Kansas City. Say a prayer for PFT and the Beave who are making their annual pilgrimage to a Commies game at exactly the wrong time.

Toughhhhh. Fuckin' brutal innit.

It's not just Jayden is hurt- the injuries run deeper than Marianas Trench. Last week in Dallas, we were without our top 3 (THREE!!!) WRs- Terry, Deebo, and Noah Brown. Chris Moore and Robbie Chosen (yes, you remember Robbie Anderson who changed his name to Robbie Chosen who wasn't even on a team last year) are our starting 2 WRs. It's DIRE.

And then in the secondary...it's somehow even worse? I mean I should do a Joe Whitt Jr blog, but he's a horrendous Defensive Coordinator and I cannot believe he hasn't been relieved of his duties. He calls the most vanilla, plain, uninspiring defense I've ever seen. He rushes 4 on 70% of snaps. It's football malpractice this guy is allowed to coach the defense and it's no wonder we are 29th in total yards given up and only have 3 takeaways...THREE FUCKIN' TAKEAWAYS!!!!

It doesn't help that Marshon Lattimore does cardio at the CB position until he pulls down the WR he can't cover and gets a PI flag. Mikey has regressed big time. Quan Martin is horrible. And on and on it goes. Oh and when Bobby Wagner has to cover someone one on one...yikes. Just a horror show.

So no....no, I'm not looking forward to Monday Night Football. What was meant to be Jayden and Terry and Deebo vs Mahomes is now not looking so hot. Yes, it is football and anyone can win any given game. We can win this game. But boy, lots of things will have to go our way, and that's really not how this season has gone at all.

I'll still be watching, rooting, hoping, and praying. Maybe we shock the world???!!!!! HTTC always. In Mariota We Trust!!!!
